About The Author

I live in beautiful Yorkshire Wolds and love spending time outdoors exploring the countryside. My two children are my inspiration – I wrote my books to help us discuss things that scare them (and there are many!) in a gentle and fun way.

Fun Fact number 1: after reading and re-reading my first book “Don’t wake the Baby Spiders”, my younger daughter decided she wanted a spider as a pet.

Fun Fact number 2: Basil the Dog from my second book “Basil Don’t Bark” is a real dog. He belongs to my mum and he is very excitable. For those who are interested, he is a Löwchen, which means a little lion.
